Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(I) Issue writ of mandamus and direct to the Commissioner Gorakhpur to decide Revision No. C20140500001858 of 2014 (Radhika Devi Vs. Ramvachan and 4 others) pending before Commissioner Gorakhpur within stipulated period."
It is stated that a revision arising out of proceedings under Section 34 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act is pending consideration before the Commissioner, Gorakhpur since the year 2014.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2, Commissioner, Gorakhpur to decide the revision as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
