Heard Mr.Amulya Ratan Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Dhananjay Awasthi, learned counsel for the respondents.
At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner Mr.Amulya Ratan Srivastava submits that the petitioner wishes to apply for a fresh recognition of the Institution by the National Council for Teacher Education.
Sri Dhananjay Awasthi, learned counsel for the respondents does not have any serious objection to the aforesaid prayer. He however contends that the issue of recognition of the Institution will be judged in the light of the existing standards and criteria for recognition.
Mr.Amulya Ratan Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner does not have any objection to the Institution being asked to conform to the existing standards and criteria for recognition.
In such view of the matter, it is open to the petitioner to apply for fresh recognition before the competent authority. In case such application is made by the petitioner, the same shall be disposed of by the authority in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
