THIS CONTEMPT PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, RAVI MALIMATH J., PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER This contempt petition is filed on the ground that the order dated 25.02.2019 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.8058 of 2019 has been disobeyed. In terms whereof, a mandamus was issued to the respondent-Bengaluru Development Authority to consider the representation of the petitioner within eight weeks. Since, the same was not complied, the instant petition is filed.
2. A compliance affidavit is filed by the accused in the Court today. He has tendered his unconditional apology for the delay in complying with the order of the learned Single Judge within the time frame. He has also enclosed Annexure-R1 to indicate compliance of the order of the learned Single Judge.
3. For the reasons assigned, the delay in complying with the order passed by the learned Single Judge is condoned. In view of Annexure-R1 being passed, we find no good ground to proceed further in the matter.
The proceedings are dropped.
