JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.68 of 2010 pending on the file of the respondent and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.68 of 2010, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthiramerur and the same was taken on file as CC No.105/2010. Subsequently, after trial, the petitioner was also acquitted under Section 255(1) Cr.P.C, by order dated 17.09.2013.
3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
