2. The respondents are wife and daughter of the petitioner who have filed the petition for claiming maintenance under Section 125 of Code of Criminal Procedure.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks the permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and also made an endorsement to that effect. The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that in view of the pendency of the matter before this Court, the respondents/petitioners were unable to proceed with the maintenance case in M.C.No.6 of 2011 in an effective manner and prays that a direction may be issued to the Judicial Magistrate, Arcot to take up the matter, expeditiously and pass orders at an early date.
4. Taking into consideration, the above submission of the learned counsel for the respondents, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Arcot is directed to render priority to the case and complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible and pass orders within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
