JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 34
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 50361 of 2002 Petitioner :- Smt. R.K. Vaisley Respondent :- Labour Commissioner U.P. Kanpur And Others Counsel for Petitioner :- S.N. Dubey,Sumati Rani Gupta Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal,J.
1. Ms. Sumati Rani Gupta, learned counsel for petitioner, states that she has no instructions in the matter. No other counsel has appeared on behalf of petitioner though the case is called in revise.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:
"i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the order dated 23.7.2002 passed by the respondent no. 1 (Annexure XII to the writ petition).
ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the order dated 27.4.1989 passed by the respondent no.2 (Annexure II to the writ petition).
iii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner from the date her juniors have been promoted."
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting relief, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
