JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 6
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 24952 of 2018 Petitioner :- Pyare Lal Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Rajesh Kumar Namdev Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Yashwant Varma,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
This petition impugns an order dated 29 October 2018 pursuant to which the third respondent herein has as an ad hoc arrangement been granted additional charge of the post of Ziledar.
The said ad hoc arrangement has been made consequent to the superannuation of Prem Pal Singh on 31 October 2018. The solitary ground on which this interim arrangement is assailed is that the petitioner is senior to the third respondent. However despite repeated queries, learned counsel was unable to draw the attention of the Court to any statutory rule which mandates ad hoc arrangements being made on the basis of seniority.
Consequently, writ petition fails and is dismissed.
Order Date :- 27.11.2018 faraz
