By this writ-application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the applicants have prayed for the following reliefs :
"(A) To direct the respondents to entrust investigation of the FIR at Annexure-A CR No.24/2015 registered with Kodinar Police Station and Annexure-B CR No.23/2015 registered with Kodinar Police Station to an independent investigating agency or officer not below the rank of DSP under State CID Crime or deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court.
(B) In the alternative, be pleased to direct DSP, Gir Somnath or DSP, Junagadh also to look into the FIRs at Annexure-A and B investigate the same and do the needful in accordance with law along with complaints to be directed to be investigated upon stated in the order dated 21-4-2015 in Special Criminal Application No.2625 of 2013.
R/SCR.A/2667/2015 ORDER (C) Pending the admission, hearing and final disposal of this application, be pleased to direct the respondents to place on record action taken report upon the complaints at Annexure-A and B.
(D) To pass such other and further reliefs that may be deemed fit and proper and in the interest of justice."
Mr.Yagnik, the learned counsel appearing for the applicants, has drawn my attention to a recent order passed by this Court dated 21st April 2015 in Special Criminal Application No.2625 of 2013.
Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and having gone through the materials on record, I am of the view that the ends of justice would be met if the DSP Junagadh shall look into the FIRs at Annexures-A and B and issue appropriate directions for effective and fair investigation of the same at the earliest.
With the above, this petition is disposed of. Direct service is permitted.
