Heard Sri Samit Gopal, learned Senior Advocate for the applicant and Sri P.S. Jadon, learned counsel for the State.
After arguing at length, learned counsel for the applicant wants to withdraw the present application with liberty to revive the same after the evidence of main witnesses. He, however, submits that direction may be issued to the trial court for early disposal of the trial as the applicant is languishing in jail since 27.11.2018.
State counsel has no objection to this proposition.
The application is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
However, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six months from the date of framing of charge. The applicant is obliged to produce certified copy of this order before the trial court. Registry is also directed to communicate this order to the trial court.
