This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon respondents to allow the petitioners to continue as Nursing Staff at Etawah in National Health Mission, U.P. till the COVID-19 pandemic gets over.
Petitioners' appointment clearly records that they have been appointed for a period of six months. A specific order has been passed by the competent authority informing the petitioners that their period of six month has come to an end, and therefore they need not continue any further. This order dated 24.2.2021, passed by Chief Medical Officer, Etawah is not under challenge. Once the petitioners have been discontinued as per the terms of their appointment and order of discontinuance is not under challenge, no relief can be granted to them.
Writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed.
