Heard Mr. Ashutosh Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondent.
The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus commanding Respondent No. 1- Deputy Director of Consolidation, Ballia to decide Revision No. 517/608 (Uday Narayan Vs. Vashishth Narayan) filed by the petitioner under Section 48 (1) of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 within the stipulated time.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that revision was filed in the year 2013, which remain pending till date.
Under these circumstances, direction is issued to Respondent No. 1- Deputy Director of Consolidation, Ballia to decide Revision No. 517/608 (Uday Narayan Vs. Vashishth Narayan) filed by the petitioner under Section 48 (1) of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
