This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a limited prayer for issuance of a mandamus to the Appellate Authority to decide the Appeal No. 191 of 2013 (Prem Chand Vs. State of U.P.) filed by the petitioner against the cancellation of Fair Price Shop license of the petitioner.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the Appeal was filed by him before the Appellate Authority on 17.1.2013, the same has not been decided as yet.
Accordingly, without entering into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Appellate Authority to decide the Appeal within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
