The present application has been preferred by the applicant - convict seeking regularization a day of late surrender.

I have perused the application and documents on record. It also emerges from the record that the convict had released on parole leave by the Coordinate Bench of this Court, but he could not surrender in time and he was late by one day and, therefore, the present application is preferred.

In view of the aforesaid facts, the present application requires consideration. Hence, the application is allowed. The period of late surrender by one day may be treated as release period. Direct service is permitted.
