This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the suspension order dated 24.10.2017 passed by the Licensing Authority - the Sub Divisional Officer, Badaut, District Baghpat simultaneously issuing a show cause notice to the petitioner to submit his explanation to the irregularities complained of by the villagers in his distribution of scheduled commodities.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already submitted his explanation along with documentary evidence on 6.11.2017, instead of taking any decision on the same, the respondent no. 2 is sitting tight over the matter.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the case of the petitioner after taking into account his explanation dated 6.11.2017 and also documentary evidence like Stock Register, Sale Register, Distribution Certificates and entries in ration cards of the complainants.
A reasoned and speaking order shall be passed by the Licensing Authority within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
