JUDGMENT / ORDER

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned counsel on either side have filed a joint memo of compromise dated 08.12.2016, duly signed by the petitioner, the de facto complainant as well as the learned counsel for the petitioner, in which it is stated that the petitioner subsequently married the de facto complainant, the second respondent herein, after the mediation was conducted and jointly living together as husband and wife. It is also stated that due to the wedlock, the second respondent had given birth to a female child.
2. Both the parties are present and they accepted the contents in the joint memo of compromise as true.
3. The joint memo of compromise is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. In view of the joint memo of compromise, the First Information Report in Crime No.10 of 2015 pending on the file of the first respondent police is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in terms of the joint memo of compromise.
