Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri S.C. Upadhyay, the learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
The petitioner who is a member of the Police Force has failed to abide by an order of transfer which was passed as far back as in February 2016. Despite the matter having been adjourned on three earlier occasions, even today learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to state whether the petitioner has complied with the order of transfer.
Consequently, the petition is dismissed with costs quantified as Rs.5,000/-.
