JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned State Attorney.
2. By this Writ Petition the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the first respondent to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner against unlawful mischief, nuisance and criminal intimidation caused by respondents 2 to 8 or his men.
3. The learned State Attorney, on instruction, submits that on a complaint submitted by the temple authorities, a crime has already been registered and the petitioner has been charge sheeted. There are allegations of misappropriation of fund by the petitioner. From the facts brought on record, it does appear that there is a dispute between the petitioner and certain office bearers of the Shri Mahadevar Temple.

4. In the light of the facts of the present case, no direction for police protection can be issued as prayed ofr in the Writ Petition.
The Writ Petition is dismissed.
