Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(1) Issue a writ, order of direction directing the court concerned to decide the suit no-100/2016 (T 201702254301919) (Kamal Singh VS Suresh Singh and others) pending before the Sub Divisional Officer Fatehpur in specific period."
Perusal of the order sheet reveals that the petitioner, who was arrayed as a defendant in the suit for partition instituted in the year 2016 has filed his written statement only recently. The issues have not been framed as yet, neither the parties have led their evidence.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1/Sub Divisional Officer, Fatehpur to decide the partition suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 18 months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
