While entertaining this petition, following orders were passed on 09.08.2018:-
"It is stated that though the petitioner was selected, but he has been declared medically unfit without informing the petitioner of the reasons in that regard.
Learned standing counsel may obtain instructions in the matter. Put up this matter, in the additional cause list, on 17.08.2018"
Learned standing counsel has obtained instructions, copy of which has been furnished to the counsel for the petitioner. As per the instructions, petitioner has been declared medically unfit, as he suffers from knock knee. Certificate of the District Medical Board, as also the Regional Appellate Medical Board, has been produced in that regard.
Even when the matter is taken up in the revised call, none is present on behalf of the petitioner to dispute such averments.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
