Heard Sri Amar Jeet Upadhyay, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA for the respondents-State and perused the record.
This petition for writ under Article 226 of Constitution of India is before us to have a direction for expeditious investigation in Case Crime No. 492 of 2017 pending investigation at Police Station Medical College, District Meerut pertaining to offence punishable under Sections 380, 406, 323, 504, 506 IPC and 3(1)X SC/ST Act.
Be that as it may, expeditious investigation in every matter is always desirable.
In view of it, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by directing respondent nos. 2 and 3 to complete the investigation at earliest and to file a police report before the Court competent expeditiously.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
