Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed with a prayer that the Court below i.e. District Judge, Hathras (respondent no. 1) be directed to expedite the hearing and decide the Election Petition No. 2 of 2017 within a time bound period.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is finally disposed of with the direction to the District Judge, Hathras (respondent no. 1) to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same on its own merit, in accordance with law, expeditiously by fixing short dates and no unnecessary adjournments shall be granted to the parties. In case any adjournment is granted, the same shall be granted by recording reasons and by imposing heavy cost.
With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the present petition is finally disposed of.
