The sole grievance of the petitioner is that the Election Petition being Case No. 2500 of 2021 (Computerized Case No. T202115090602500), under Section 12(Ga) of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, was not being decided and, therefore, a prayer for a direction has been made that the case be decided expeditiously within a stipulated period of time.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid Case.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is being directed that the Case No. 2500 of 2021 (Computerized Case No. T202115090602500), under Section 12(Ga) of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, be decided within a period of six months from the date the private respondents are served.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
