JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for the writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's request in his representation, dated 14.11.2016, for deleting para No.13 of the Audit Statement for the year 2009-2010.
2. Mr.A.K.Baskarapandian, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing.
3. The prayer in the writ petition itself is only for a writ of mandamus to give a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 14.11.2016, for the purpose of deleting para No.13 of the Audit Statement for the year 2009-2010. Considering the same, this Court, without going to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in the said representation, is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.11.2016, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
