The petitioner’s authorization in respect of fair price shop No.2, Obachettapalem village, Chimakurthi Mandal, Prakasam District has been suspended pending enquiry by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings dated 14.06.2010. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies.
As the enquiry is pending before the 2nd respondent, though I am not inclined to express any opinion as to the correctness of the allegations made against the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry initiated against the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of this order. In case the enquiry is not completed within the time fixed above, the impugned order of suspension dated 14.06.2010 shall stand set aside and the authorization of the petitioner shall be restored. No costs.
