Patel vs Election

As per the submissions made by Mr.Jigar G. Gadhavi, learned advocate for the petitioner, the petitioner contested the election of Sarpanch and lost to respondent No.2. He has made a complaint regarding name of respondent No.2 in two Voters' List which, according to him, has been rejected by the Election Officer of the concerned Gram Panchayat. As the petition appears to be one that challenges an order pertaining to the elections, Registry may verify and place before the appropriate Court.
