Heard Sri Ashok Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Kritika Singh learned additional chief standing counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner is stated to have performed certain contract work under the Swachh Bharat Mission- Gramin under the orders of the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Jaunpur and Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, Jaunpur but payment has not been made so far.
No useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter pending.
We, therefore, dispose of this writ petition with the direction that if the petitioner files a fresh representation before the District Magistrate, Jaunpur respondent no.2 enclosing therewith all the relevant documents along with a certified copy of this order within 15 days from today in respect of the claim raised in this writ petition, the respondent no.2 shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a further period of 3 months and if any payment is considered to be paid to the petitioner the same shall be paid to him within the same period of time.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioners on merits.
