JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 336 of IPC r/w Section 3(1)(x) of SC & ST (P.A.) Act in Crime No.152 of 2013 on the file of the second respondent, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the Trial Judge, to consider his bail application on the same day on merits.
2. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents.
3. Heard both sides.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge at Thiruvannamalai (Special Judge for SC & ST) is directed to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and to pass suitable orders, in the event of the petitioner surrendering before the said court within 15 days from today and filing of petition seeking bail.
5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
