JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2017 so as to give patta in the name of the petitioner within the stipulated time.
2. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2017 for issuance of patta and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
