JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur, Chennai to complete the trial in C.C.No.75 of 2016 pending on his file, within a stipulated time frame.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a senior citizen and he is aged 86 years. Taking into consideration of the same, he submitted that the Trial Court may be directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.471 of 2015 within a stipulated time frame.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent.
4. Taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner is aged 86 years, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur, Chennai is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.75 of 2016, pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
