JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's explanation, dated 10.04.2017 and consequently direct the respondents to complete the entire proceedings regarding the grant of permission to the petitioner to run the Matriculation School from LKG to VIII Standard in Azhagiya Mandapam, Mulagamoodu Post, Kanyakumari District, within a time frame.
2.The case of the petitioner is that he is running a Nursery and Primary School from 2011 and he sought permission from the respondents to run Matriculation school from LKG to VIII Standard and that the 2nd respondent has sought further clarification from the petitioner, which was also furnished on 10.04.2017. Since, there is no further action, the present writ petition is filed.
3.Heard Mr.J.Shanmuga Sundharam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, without going into merits of the case, this court directs the respondents to consider the explanation, dated 10.04.2017 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders purely on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the order copy. No costs. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
