On behalf of the bidder, who submitted his offer before the closing date/time, a request has been made for adjournment on the ground that due to difficulty, he is not able to attend the hearing today.
Since only one offer has been received before the closing date/time and the revised upset value was reduced, pursuant to the decision taken in the Sale Committee Meeting (having regard to the fact that any substantive offer has not been received), it, prima facie, appears that it would be appropriate to issue fresh advertisement in the news-papers having wide publication and/or by more than one mode of advertisement. However, before taking any decision on this count, it also appears appropriate to give an option to the bidder to revise his offer and make it substantial.
Therefore, having regard to the request made by the bidder, S.O. to 12th July, 2011.
