The petitioner is aggrieved by Ext.P9 order of the District Collector, Ernakulam rejecting an application for putting up a Gas Fired Crematorium, submitted by the petitioner. The petitioner is a resident of the Poothrikka Grama Panchayat. Aggrieved by Ext.P9, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P11 appeal to the Government, which is pending. The appeal was filed on 25.07.2014. The petitioner therefore, seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration of Ext.P11. The learned Government Pleader appears for respondents 1 to 3 and 5 to 7. In view of the limited relief sought, it is not necessary to issue notice to the other respondents.
2. Since Ext.P11 appeal is pending consideration of the 1st respondent, it is sufficient that this writ petition is disposed of directing the same to be considered.

This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P11 appeal preferred by the petitioner in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as all other interested parties and to finally dispose of the appeal, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
W.P.(C) No.25546 of 2014 2 It is made clear that the 1st respondent shall be at liberty to consider the question of maintainability of the appeal also, that has been raised by the Government Pleader before this Court.
