JUDGMENT / ORDER

When the writ petition filed by M/s Nittsu Logistics (India) Private Limited represented by its General Manager, Chennai seeking a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to pass orders on merits on the application dated 14.12.2016 seeking permission to engage an Advocate to represent the petitioner in A.Nos.904 to 943 of 2016 filed by the respondents under Section 2(A) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 was taken up today, Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent submitted that the case pending on the file of the first respondent, namely, the Assistant Commissioner of Labour(Conciliation)-I, Sriperumbudur has already been disposed of on 12.1.2017, therefore, the prayer has become infructuous and the writ petition cannot be entertained.
2. Recording his statement, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, W.M.P.No.2629 of 2017 is also dismissed. No costs.
