Heard Sri Gaurav Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Kritika Singh, learned Additional chief standing counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a directing to the respondents to provide protection for the peaceful possession over the property of the petitioner.
It is stated that by order dated 8.9.2018 passed in Original Suit No. 180 of 1983 the National Lok Adalat has put the petitioner in possession of the plot in question, the number of which has not been mentioned in the writ petition. It is stated that land mafias are interfering in the peaceful possession of the petitioner over the plot in question.
On the facts as stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, in our opinion no case for interference is made out as it is a private dispute. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate court seeking civil remedies.
The writ petition is misconceived which is hereby dismissed.
