When certain order for demolition was passed on 19.7.2019, the petitioner filed an appeal and when the Appeal was dismissed on 22.3.2019, the instant writ petition was filed.
The contention of the learned counsel for the Meerut Development Authority Sri B. Dayal is that the petitioner has an efficacious alternative remedy of filing a Revision.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is being directed that if a Revision is filed within a period of three weeks from today then the same shall be entertained without going into the question of limitation and shall be decided within a period of three months thereafter.
For a period of four months or till the decision of the Revision, whichever is earlier, status quo as of today shall be maintained.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
