Heard counsel for the petitioners and Sri Gyan Prakash Singh for respondents.
The only prayer made in the instant petition is for issuance of a direction to the trial court to expedite the proceedings of Original Suit No.314 of 2007 which is pending at the instance of the petitioners.
Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the defendant is delaying the disposal of the suit by seeking unnecessary adjournments.
Having regard to the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the trial court to make all endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments.
