Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(I) Issue a writ or order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing respondent no. 2/Sub Divisional Officer Tahsil Chunar, District Mirzapur to decide the restoration application dated 05.12.2017 filed by the petitioner case no. 25 of 2016 Computerized in case no. T2016165304450 (Premnath and others Vs. Nandlal and others) under section 176 of U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act for division of holding within two months or within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
The grievance of the petitioner is that his restoration application filed against an order accepting the lots proposed by the Lekhpal is pending consideration since the year 2017.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2/Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Chunar, District Mirzapur to decide the mutation case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
