This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Code') has been filed on behalf of the applicants with a prayer to quash the charge sheet dated 08.05.2002 and cognizance order and the entire proceeding of Case No. 3550 of 2017 (State vs. Raj Naimuddin and others), arising out of Case Crime No. 56 of 2002, under Sections 323, 324, 325, 452, 308 I.P.C., 1860, Police Station - Gursahaiganj, District - Kannauj, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Kannauj.
Informant/opposite party no. 2 Alauddin, Rafiuddin, injured Kamaluddin, Smt. Safiya Begum and Naimuddin (applicant no. 1) have filed joint compromise affidavit with assertion that they have settled the dispute between them amicably.
From the perusal of the first information report, it reveals that this is family dispute, which has been amicably settled between the parties.
Accordingly, the proceeding of the aforesaid case is hereby quashed and in result the instant application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is allowed.
