... Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to extent all monetary benefits by raising the petitioners salary to the level of his Junior R.Srinivasan in the same category as on 01.04.1978.
For Petitioner :No Appearance For Respondents : Mrs.M.E.Rani Selvam Additional Government Pleader O R D E R The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to extent all monetary benefits by raising the petitioners salary to the level of his Junior R.Srinivasan in the same category as on 01.04.1978.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made a representation dated 01.12.2004 to the respondent praying to fix the pay anomaly on par with R.Srinivasan, who is the Junior of the petitioner and also refixation pay but the same has not been considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition has been filed for the aforesaid prayer.
3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner has already given change of vakalat for the petitioner and this Court has issued notice to the petitioner, but the petitioner has not chosen appeared before this Court either in person or through his counsel.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2004 by giving personal opportunity and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordinlgy, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
