JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct temple festival programmes by fitting sound system and cultural programmes in Uthangarai Vattam, Krishnagiri District and to conduct temple functions on 14.06.2017 as part of Sri Mariamman Festival at Krishnagiri District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2017.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 02.06.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 14.06.2017, the respondent has not passed orders till today.
3. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.
4. Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 12.06.2017.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
