JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 3 and Mr.G.Anantha Rangan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the 5th respondent. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writs of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 19.07.2017 and to grant permission or licence to his shop under the category of disabled person.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2017, the 5th respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. According to the petitioner, he is a physically handicapped person and he has been assessed at 80% permanent disability. The petitioner seeks licence to put up a small bunk shop and in this regard he has submitted a representation dated 19.07.2017.
5. Mr.G.Anantha Rangan, learned Standing Counsel for the 5th respondent submitted that th 5threspondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2017, in accordance with law, within a time frame.
6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 5th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
