The present writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus commanding the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur, i.e. respondent No.1, to firstly consider and decide the petitioner's objection dated 02.02.2021, thereby summon the respondent No.2/revisionist for verification of her signature in memo of revision and Vakalatnama in Revision No.3611/2019- 20 (Mohsina Vs. Muzammil & others) under Section 48(1) of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act.
This Court, while exercising power under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, do not monitor day to day proceedings of the Tribunal. In view of the aforesaid, the prayer made in the writ petition stands rejected.
The Counsel for the petitioner, during course of the argument, has prayed that the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur i.e. respondent No.1, be directed to decide the Revision No.3611/2019-20 (Mohsina Vs. Muzammil & others) expeditiously.
Without entering into the merits of the case, the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur, i.e. respondent No.1, is directed to decide the aforesaid revision within a period of one year from the date a copy of this order is produced before him, if still pending, and in case there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid revision.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
