This petition has been filed with a prayer seeking direction to the court below for early decision of Sessions Trial No. 855 of 2013 (State Vs. Jugra and others), arising out of Case Crime No. 75 of 2013, under Sections- 147, 148, 452, 323, 504 506, 302 I.P.C., Police Station- Phalwada, District- Meerut, pending before the Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Court No. 1, Meerut.
Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2013. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of eight months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
