In terms of the order dated 16.03.2018 in Writ-C No. 9772 of 2018, the opposite party was required to decide the representation of the applicant dated 07.02.2018 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
Counsel for the applicant submitted that an application alongwith certified copy of the order of the Writ Court was submitted in the office of the District Magistrate, Allahabad on 24.03.2018, but no decision has been taken in the matter so far.
The order of the Writ Court was not communicated to the opposite party by registered post. There is no convincing evidence on record to show that the order of the Writ Court is in the knowledge of the opposite party.
Therefore, at this stage, this Court declines to take cognizance of the matter, but leaves it open to the applicant to serve certified copy of the order of the Writ Court by registered post upon the opposite party, in which event, the opposite party shall be bound by the direction issued by the Writ Court.
The contempt application stands disposed of accordingly.
