Grievance of the petitioners is that in the name of verification which is unnecessarily being kept pending by the respondent no. 3 for a long time he is not permitted to ply his vehicle. Reference in this connection a letter dated 15.01.2018 issued by the Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Rampur stating that the vehicle which was registered in Nagaland and after obtaining no objection certificate has been registered in U.P. may be physically verified by chassis number from the manufacturing company and thereafter he may be permitted to ply his vehicle.
Considering the facts, we dispose of the writ petition by providing that the verification of such vehicle may be carried out expeditiously, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the respondent no. 3 and thereafter he may pass suitable orders accordingly.
