The applicants are before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the orders dated 20.11.2010 passed in Writ C No. 67716 of 2010 (Mukhtiyar Ahmad & Others Vs. State of U.P. & Others), 02.11.2010 passed in Writ C No. 65639 of 2010 (Mahmood Ali Vs. State of U.P. & Others), and order dated 02.11.2010 passed in Writ C No. 65642 of 2010 (Maqbool Shah Vs. State of U.P. & Others).
Today when the matter is taken up, Shri K. R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite party has placed before this Court an affidavit of compliance, the same is taken on record. It is stated that the aforesaid orders passed by the writ court have already been complied with. Though the order passed by the writ court has already been complied with, therefore, no cause of action remained survive.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed. However, in case applicants are still aggrieved it is open for the applicants to approach the authority concerned, if so advised.
