Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel.
Present writ petition has been preferred for a direction to second respondent i.e. District Commandant Home Guards, Bareilly, Distt. Bareilly to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 7.4.2021 qua payment of amount under Group Insurance Scheme, within stipulated period.
It is contended that the husband of the petitioner working on the post of Company Commander in the office of District Commandant Home Guards, Bareilly, during duty period, was hit by a vehicle and due to this he died on 10.11.2015. The sole grievance of the petitioner is that inspite of several requests the amount under Group Insurance Scheme has not been paid to her as yet. Some instructions have also bee placed claiming that insurance company has already rejected the claim.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and with the consent, the writ petition stands disposed of asking the second respondent to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, after taking necessary comments from the insurance company, expeditiously and preferably within two months from the date of production of copy of this order.
The party shall file computer generated copy of such order downloaded from the official website of High Court Allahabad, self attested by the petitioner alongwith a self attested identity proof of the said person (preferably Aadhar Card) mentioning the mobile number to which the said Aadhar Card is linked.
The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall make a declaration of such verification in writing.
