Heard Shri Sanjay Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned AGA for the State.
By means of the present writ petition, the petitioners are seeking quashing of the first information report dated 16.08.2021 registered as Case Crime No. 0255 of 2021, under Sections 420, 406, 504, 506 I.P.C. and Sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 The Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978 , P.S.- Bahadurgarh, District- Hapur.
The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the allegations in the first information report are false and concocted. The first informant has given an affidavit before the Superintendent of Police, that the petitioners have no concern with the company, wherein, the money of the complainant was invested.
Be that as it may, looking to the allegations in the first information report, it cannot be said that it does not disclose commission of a cognizable offence. Even otherwise, the merits of the allegations cannot be seen by this Court. Any interference at this stage, may impede the process of speedy investigation.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
