JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner had entered into a rental agreement with the fifth respondent in connection with his property situated in S.No.19/6A1C, Kondalampatti Ammani Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District on 03.04.2014. It is the case of the petitioner that a huge amount is outstanding towards rental arrears from the authorities concerned although several representations have been made to the respondents, no fruitful results were forthcoming. Hence, he has come up with the present writ petition.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Advocate General by referring to the counter affidavit of the respondents 1, 2, 4 and 5 would submit that already a sum of Rs.3,59,800/- had been paid to the petitioner and the balance sum of Rs.4,62,600/- will be paid within a short span of time i.e., on or before 31.03.2017.
3. In view of the statement made by the learned Additional Advocate General, this writ petition is closed. However, it is needless to mention that the statement made by the learned Additional Advocate General is recorded. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
