(DELIVERED BY THE HON'BLE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners praying to declare that Clause 28 of Schedule III to the Rules of Legal Education, 2008, framed by the respondent is null and void.
2. Heard Mr.M.Radhakrishnan, party appearing in person and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
3. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent that the issue is under challenge before the Hon'ble Apex Court in W.P. (Civil) No.1023/2016, which has been taken cognizance of and order has also been passed on 3rd March, 2017 with a direction to list the matter in the third week of July, 2017.
4. In view of the above position, this petition is treated as closed for the present. However, it is open to the petitioner to invoke the jurisdiction of this Court at the appropriate time, if so advised. In the circumstances of the case, there shall be no order as to costs.
